Getting ready for week 2

Tutorials and Labs start this week, and there are a few things you'll need to do. Please make sure that you've read the lab notes [download] before you arrive at your lab, they are quite long. Please also read chapter 1 of the text book, and attempt part (a) of each of the odd numbered questions in section 1.4 before your tutorial. You'll get the most benefit from your tutor/demonstrator if you're ready to ask questions when you arrive.
